I love the sound of the Touring Non Resonated w/ Performance link pipes. Will long tube headers connect right to the PLP? Or would you have to remove and use brand header pipes?
Would you have to weld the pipes together?

The resonated midsections purely take some the edge off the exhaust note in the higher end of the rev band. Our recommendation for those looking for a best drone-free experience would be the Non-Resonated Touring Edition for factory headers, and Resonated Touring Edition for aftermarket headers.

One last question as I'm trying to decide between Axle back versus Cat Back, based on your installs, is there a considerable difference in sound quality between the AB versus CB systems (deeper growl, louder, etc.)? I'm a guy that has a completely stock exhaust system right now, but wants that deeper/throatier sound without the annoying drone if possible. I've heard a lot of good things about the "touring" systems that you offer and that's the direction for me, for sure. I personally don't want that "super loud" exhaust. I know I'll be losing the NPP functions. But, meh.... Thanks again... |
