BBE valves are not the same as stock. Much beefier. Yes, if buzzing/rattle is resolved, it will be a nice sounding system. However, the valves don’t make much difference for light driving or cruising. They only make a noticeable difference WOT.

I really hope it resolves it! At least so you can be done with the pain in the ass. Lol

The only other I considered sound wise before BB was AFE, but same thing not many people have them. The only other draw back here was they don't make any sec cat delete pipes so you have to cut and weld, not a fan of doing that.
I wasn't totally sold on the sound by the Borla exhaust. But then again I'm hearing sound clips as I haven't found anyone in my area to listen to in person.

Got them last night and was so anxious, so I put them on. Needs some minor adjustment on the fitment today, but the buzz is gone! I only revved the car a few times and they sound great. I need to wait for rain to end and then I can take it for a drive and get some videos. I think that this is finally a resolved situation.

That's GREAT TO HEAR! Make sure to get some videos when you can. This option may be back on the table.

Also thanks for taking the plunge. I know it has been a PITA.

Despite the frustration, I think they are worth considering. I think the main isssue for me was the unrealistic turnaround times that they gave me. If they told me “we want to make sure you get a perfect product and it will take us month or two to build this”, then I wouldn’t have cared. Visually, the craftsmanship is remarkable. The tone is very nice too. If turnaround expectations were communicated accurately, then I think this would still be an acceptable situation, even with the rebuild.

It sounds wonderful without the buzzes! I have to give credit for that now.

Is there any difference in the NPP volume now with the fixed cans? Do they look different at all?

There’s minor visual differences on the exterior. I have different tips on this set and there’s a Center bar running through the cans that is now welded closed. I attached a picture of the old can. Look at the circular piece in the middle of the can. I think that may have been related to the problem. I’m wondering if the partial welds could have allowed the outer can to buzz at certain frequencies. I might try adding some JB weld on these and swap one back on to see if that fixes it.
