11's are a rare occurrence. If you get it, great, but I wouldn't go to the track assuming anything better than low 12's. Which is pretty awesome in itself...

Not sure what's in a drag pack, but 11.9 is the best a stock A8 has done. Which is totally awesome I might add. 😊

17 inch rims all the way around. 17 x 9.5 in the back. 17 x 4.5 in the front.

305/45/17 mt et street r in the back. 28x6 skinny front runner m/t sportsman in the front.

60-80lbs of rotating weight gone. Which is like taking out 200+lbs of normal weight. Plus nice sticky tires in the back. And its a 1ss with NPP as only option. Well that and a glow tie

The fastest a stock drag pack car has gone is 11.7. But was negative da. Ill be running in around ~500.

Yeah you are probably right. Just thought I had a good chance with my setup and the colder weather.

Better think conservative to not be disappointed. Low 12s are good...just sucks to be so close to 11s...

Zero slips! I arrived at Atco before 6PM and was looking forward to running in the very good air. But there was a crash and after that another problem and the track officials said we would only get to run the 1/8th. I left @ 8:30 PM :(

No runs. I hope the guy in the first accident is okay. I think his car caught on fire and then the chute popped out under power and the car flipped a few times I heard. The guy was walking but had some burns. The ambulence and fire trucks came.

Some guys were angry at all this but I am glad Atco is looking out for our safety and will shut things down when things are not right. I have started goning sideways @ over 120 mph on the big end with my turbo 1LE. I had to change my pants afterwards. Not fun. I have had several NDEs in my life and hope to avoid any more.

When I came home I put my stock wheels and tires on for the several long trips I am taking. So back to stock. I will not be able to get back to Atco for a while.

Damn, hope that guy is alright. Sounds like quite the accident. Getting sideways over 100 (when not intentional lol) is not fun at all. It's actually a good thing that the track has the safety of the racers (and spectators) in mind instead of throwing caution to the wind and ending up with even more problems. Also, I would love to visit ATCO at some point in time. Anyway have fun on your trips and good luck when you get back to ATCO

That sucks. Jelena got two runs in before the crash. She had a nice race against a white 6th gen Camaro. Someone one here? She treed the hell out of him and it was all over. We'll see ya there Friday and everyone will hit new bests!!!.
