yup. Thanks Covid. All it did was give railways and cargo ships a reason to reduce capacity. They found keeping the capcity low they could create a false demand and charge more. During covid, I had to pay $6000 + the normal freight charges, just to reserve a spot on a ship. then it wasnt guarenteed to leave port on time

My car was built 6/2 and dealer finally got it delivered today!
But unfortunately I also got this picture from them of a damaged rim

I just got an email from my dealer that my ZL1 order has been accepted by GM. I have been waiting since Nov 15. When I did the reorder for 2024, I dropped the 1LE out of fear I’d never get one, and I was on the fence about it anyway. I suppose the silver lining is I’ve been setting aside money from my side hustle all this time and I’ll be writing a check rather than financing.

Anyone have an idea about how long delivery takes from this point?

After a 4 months, I finally got the call from my dealer yesterday. Taking the day off and picking her up today!!!
