Taylor 409 wires should be 350 ohms per foot, so I have a bad wire. For now I have it in an easy to get to location so it will be quick to change out later. Last thing I did was change the engine oil and filter.

My car has never been on a dyno before, so I am excited to see what kind of HP it will produce.
How do you like your cam?

Hey everyone we just did a whipple swap on a zl1 and also added a meth injection system to it as well. It looked very clean when we were done. Now this vehicle is pretty much stock besides the blower swap and for sure has more potential but we were happy with the numbers from this setup. Reach out to me if you have any questions thanks

The cam is a bit of a sore subject for me. I don't really want to get into it on the boards, but I'll just say that I can see myself switching it out for a GPI cam in the future.

That being said, it seems to work ok. I'll let you know if I feel any better about it after I see the HP numbers.

Just got back from the shop and the cam is now on order. Comp Cam and it'll take 10 days or so until it's ready for install.

I'll have the specs before the weekend. The LSR runs about 398 and mine is a custom grind that goes for about 450.

I'm not SSessence, but hopefully he will allow me to answer the quality question on the front splitter. The quality is excellent and it appears that it would take a fair amount of abuse since it's made from a semi rigid polyurethane type of plastic.

It's mainly for looks though because the bottom is not smooth underneath like the factory OEM splitter. Then again, it's a lot cheaper and you don't have to drill a million holes for the pop riveted bracket that the factory splitter needs. All in all, it's a nice part for the price.

Now, I guess if you were clever you could add another flat piece of plastic to the bottom to make it function as a real front splitter. I may actually look into doing something like this after I install mine.

For me, fitment has been spot on and since its polyurethane it is very flexible. I've accidentally ran mine into a curb stop once or twice and with no visible effect. Super happy with mine, may go to the z28 version eventually.
