Yes. Disconnecting battery will reset computer. Onstage can tell you code but not reset.

Assuming you have an onstar subscription they can read the code for you without a problem.

Yeah that's what I'm gonna have them do when I go back into the garage just to make sure it's indeed from the headers.

Make sure you have a signal to onstar in your garage. I know mine usually cuts out or has bad reception until I get out and start driving.

It shouldn't delete your tune. Mine stays if I disconnect battery. But it will "relearn" how the car is running.

Huh, I didn't turn it over and keep it on since I only lifted the garage door, maybe I have to have it run a little bit

Thanks! I'm glad they send two sets for each side, I messed one up on each side lol

And I think so since yesterday I didn't turn the engine on just turned the key to on (testing electronics for the mirror and the new radio face to make sure it worked) and all the dash lights light up and then the engine light stays on.

So I went out this evening and turned the engine on and noticed the cel went away. I let the car run for 10 minutes and rev'd a few times and no cel. But then I pulled back into the garage and turned the key to the on spot and the cel is still lit. But not on with the engine so I think I'm good?

Matt@FSP told me "The CEL should illuminate when key is in the ON position on all vehicles that notifies that it is working correctly."

Huh you learn stuff everyday but that makes complete sense. Never have left it in the On position long enough lol
