Anyway- by 'exec' what I mean is it could go to anyone ranked an 8th level or higher, which is A LOT of people... and not really 'executives' -mostly mid-level managers and technical leaders. GM supplies cars to everyone 8 and up- they are supposed to get a new car every 4months (though covid slowed it way down). After that 4ish months, those cars get sent to auction. I would guess if you pulled as many vins of other GM vehicles, you'd find a pile of GM-Warren etc. vehicles too.

Quick thought. Appears that gm sequences the VIN every 2, or will skip a number. Assuming radiator has all the cars and hasn't missed any. Anyone know why this is or the reason behind it?

Alright that would make sense. So at the same time they are producing Cadillac's and the vin sequence is inline with the camaros? I guess I just assumed the vin sequence followed the model year. so 2024 camaros have their own sequence and the ctsv etc.

I believe the model year to be true, but in my understanding they’re making 2024 model Camaro’s and Cadillac’s or whatever other brand is getting pumped out. So it would be a 2024 ZL1 at sequences 100001 maybe a 2024 Escalade Cadillac at sequence 100002 and so on.

I’m probably not right but that’s my guess

I think they are just using the last 5 digits in sequence regardless of if it is a Camaro or a Caddy. This is a 2024 Blackwing CT5-V VIN.

1G6D35R6XR0810040

If you go through all the Camaro's built you notice they built these 2

1G1FB1RSXR0110039 1LT

1G1FH3D71R0110041 2SS

I'm guessing that Cadillac came down the line between those two Camaro's.

That makes sense. I think you are right. They are concurrently doing Cadillac's and Camaro's at the same time and vin sequence is the order they came off the line.

Question-- I went from an ETA of Oct/Nov to "on hold" per my dealership and the car has not moved since it was built and it showed up in VIN tracker. Does anyone know what that means? Ughh.i can go to another thread if I need to. It is for my zl1 panther but this is probably not the place to ask.

43 left!

Theoretically, there should be 21 Canadians and 22 US cars. The last Canadian bound was built 7k sequences ago (that we know of)

I'm sure some of the other guys probably have more knowledge but to me it sounds like they're just letting it sit there. I read on one of the Facebook groups someone had to put a little pressure on the dealer to get them to pickup the car but that was just one guy online saying that
