Haha... My favourite comment in this thread😃 What about wireless charging pad for smartphones? As i know there is no charging pad in 2019? All 2019 cars in my area have no this feature.

If that's true, I can't say it's a loss. The Galaxy S7 edge I had when I bought my 2SS didn't fit on the pad well enough to charge even without a case on it, so when I upgraded to the S10+ there was no point in even attempting to fit it back there. With AA available there would be little point in having it on the pad anyway. Aside from the car magazines' big gripe about visibility, that has to be GM's worst-executed and least future-proof design decision of the interior design.

The charging pad is available in the 2019 ZL1 at least.

I have a Google pixel 3, it does not fit charge pad ideal. But when it placed on a pad, it is charging without hitting floor on a turns and braking. For me it is huge loss, especially when you upgraded Mylink system to Nav tool wireless screen mirror. Just sit down, put phone to a charge pad and go... No more USB wire...
If you have a big smartphone, just take out charging pad rubber cover, you will have much more place for bigger phones.

Neither my S7 Edge or S10+ worked without the rubber cover. Well the S7 Edge would when PERFECTLY placed. You just can't drive or it would slide right off as the S7 Edge case also needed to be removed.

It's not just GM who screwed up on that feature, every manufacturer I've seen it and tried it with has the same issue.

19 charger pad is in fact improved over the 18. That was the 1st thing we tested with a few phones that didn't work on the 18. 10X was just out and it worked perfectly with a case on. I have S9 and it works but location sucks and plugging up works so well with Infotainment upgrades in the 19.

I turned off Android Auto and never used it in my 17. Now it's the 1st thing I plug up to. Huge improvement

I figured that would spark a post or two.

But apples to apples the 19 ZL1 has very nice improvements over the 18. Automatic heat/cool based on body temp is my favorite. Seat actually tilting back way more is another. Then there's the A10 available in the ZLE.

While I’m not a fan of either the 2019 or 2020, I feel the 2020 is a vast improvement over the 2019. The majority has spoken. It’s extremely uncommon for a refresh two years in a row.

The 2020 is still an ugly Bastard of a car but it’s better than the what we had.

My prediction is that we will have another refresh in 2021 that goes back to something more in line with the 2018 and they do something different with the tail lights as well. The pop bottle lens look needs to go. My guess is the 2021 tail lights will look very much like what you see on the C8. My guess is the front end of the Lt1 will also be refreshed.

What changed to make it a vast improvement? I can't even tell a 2019 from a 2020 ZL1 apart..
