If that's true, I can't say it's a loss. The Galaxy S7 edge I had when I bought my 2SS didn't fit on the pad well enough to charge even without a case on it, so when I upgraded to the S10+ there was no point in even attempting to fit it back there. With AA available there would be little point in having it on the pad anyway. Aside from the car magazines' big gripe about visibility, that has to be GM's worst-executed and least future-proof design decision of the interior design.

If you have a big smartphone, just take out charging pad rubber cover, you will have much more place for bigger phones. |

It's not just GM who screwed up on that feature, every manufacturer I've seen it and tried it with has the same issue.

I turned off Android Auto and never used it in my 17. Now it's the 1st thing I plug up to. Huge improvement ![]() But apples to apples the 19 ZL1 has very nice improvements over the 18. Automatic heat/cool based on body temp is my favorite. Seat actually tilting back way more is another. Then there's the A10 available in the ZLE. |

While I’m not a fan of either the 2019 or 2020, I feel the 2020 is a vast improvement over the 2019. The majority has spoken. It’s extremely uncommon for a refresh two years in a row.
The 2020 is still an ugly Bastard of a car but it’s better than the what we had. My prediction is that we will have another refresh in 2021 that goes back to something more in line with the 2018 and they do something different with the tail lights as well. The pop bottle lens look needs to go. My guess is the 2021 tail lights will look very much like what you see on the C8. My guess is the front end of the Lt1 will also be refreshed. |
