Navy Blue Metallic right? Sweet. Did you ever run it at Englishtown? I lived in jersey until 2002 we may have run into each other at some point.

Hi Baker

I'm going to do the nose, possibly part of the hood and upper fenders, lower rockers. Also in front the rear tires up to the body seem and lower rear quarters behind the tires.

Also front of mirrors and maybe a little under the door handles.

With the splash guards and protection film it should hold up well, and to me worth the investment.

I ended up ordering the factory black splash guards yesterday from my dealer. Front and Rear. These cars throw up so much gravel that I have a chip already under the left Camaro badge on the fender and 3 on the right rear quarter above the factory clear protection film.

Black guard's on the 1LE will still look clean, and show less chips on the front edge IMO.

Ive touched up the chips, will install the new guard's, then as soon as the roads are clear and dry take my car to my clear bra shop I've used before. They did a great job on my C7 and C3 Resto mod, and I really like Dex the owner.

But, I can't do that all the time obviously, hence the Xpel install coming...Xpel is awesome as not only does it offer protection, but it makes bugs and crap that get on the front of the car while driving much easier to clean off. My dealer offered it too, but I wasn't happy with their film quality and I rather have a certified installer do it.

Xpel and Suntek I think are the two best products. My guy used both of these.

Thanks for the input I am probably really leaning toward having Xpel done the dsy I get it. Done a lot of research and it looks like one of the best available will have to look into the Rock guards as well.

Would love to connect with anyone on the forum who likes to autox and or track their SS. Based in DFW and active in the local autox scene. First question: has anyone been successful in finding 19" wheels that match OEM width and offsets?...Need to run 19's to get better tire options.

First drive to work is tomorrow...Will leave early and park "way out" in the parking garage!
check my project car... 19x10 and 19x11 fully forged aluminum... 22-23lbs a corner... 7 lbs unsprung weight savings per corner....

^ Looks good.

It's funny, every time I see the gray I see more and more green in it under certain lighting conditions.

Yeah it kinda changes depending on the light. My color choices were blue or the gray... the dealer just happened to have only one in stock and it was gray with the PDR. Very similar color to the '13 ZL1 I used to have.
