I agree! My best on NT555s with an M6 twin turbo 1LE was like 1.75. I only did that a few times. I will be happy with 1.8s on the NT555Rs. I like them s a compromise tire.

Below is my first run with Pat in his new GT. It currently has 200 miles on it and it has run all 12s so far, 12.7-9.

I was on my toes the only time we ran last night. I even got a slightly better RT. A first for me to beat Pat at his game. The only other times I beat his RT was when he was giving me a head start so he could run me down. This was also the first time I beat him with a NA car, stock to slightly stock. I did have DRs, but as you can see they were not much help to me on this run. His 12.740@111.48 to my 12.606@113.96. I only got him by 1/2 a car. I pulled out very slightly ahead then he went past me. Then I reeled him in. This will be fun. If I mess up at all he will win.

The DA last night was -230. Not bad, but still very humid. I only got 2 runs in as some doofus stood his car on the bumper, slammed down hard, then proceeded to go down the track with smoke coing out all over the place. The cleanup was over an hour so I left. Looking froward to next time.

Game on! Pat is already talking about his next moves, but I bet he is not talking about all of them.

11.65 is a stout pass, congrats.

Same thing happened last Tuesday too, import turbo car wanted to spread the love alllll the way down the track....so much oil that the crewman on his scooter went to check out the damage and his bike went out from under him and skid about another 15 feet.

Very nice.

I'm glad to see Pat got his car so we can get back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Looking forward to continuing the rivalry!

Nice Run. My mods are not going to make me fast enough to stay with the Jelena GT. 13 flat with DRs. I bet that Scat Pack was a manual. As we know guys with manuals are usually losers. I did wait for over an hour before leaving. 1/8 only! Must have been the biggest spill ever.

I don't know if he was a manual. But he did have 30psi in his DRs.

Went to atco last night.

Fun night. Many of the regulars were there and some I have not seen in a while. One was a white bolton Camaro LS3 that took me back to my 5th gen days. And Pat. Of course he added 245-17 MT DRs so his GT with 300 miles on it would hook up better. And Hook up it did. Before I left he ran 4 12.5s.

While I did beat Pat we will have to put an asterisk next to it. I redlighted -.059 to his .018. I knew his car was running 12.5s and I guess I panicked a bit. Pat has a way of getting under your skin. But the Camaro came through running 12.514@114.06 to his 12.550@112.18. Another close race. I also raced Steve in his red Corvette vert. I did tree him a little but he still ran me down in another close race. Fun.

It turned out that was my slowest run of the night. The rest were 12.496@113.71 and 12.427@113.36 and my second best ever 12.408@114.56. The DA was pretty good during that run at -976 despite the high humidity.

Still trying to get the hang of the NT555Rs on this car. And still faster on the stock tires so far.

Oh, and there was another blue M6 CA6 SS there last night. I didn't get his name, but the car was running 13s. But he might have done better later in the night. I left a little early. Yawn.

The announcer was still talking about the oil spill last Tuesday. I found out from others that the wheel stander siezed its engine at the far end of the track. Serves the driver right.

Surprised you only trapping 114 in -900 DA. That's 117-119 mph DA from some other cars I've seen on the forum. Also snowblind trapped almost 118 with an a8 on DR at atco with nowhere near -900...it was -90 I believe

I did't want to say anything either, but for -976 DA from what I have seen, and been a part of, the trap speed, and even ET seems a tad low/slow, especially for Acto. My friends two manual SS's, both bone stock have both ran 12.40's and 12.30's at 114-115 in crap 1500-2000 DA. I don't know...it does seem off to me too. I fully expect my buddy Mike (the better driver) to hit 12.20's or possibly better once the winter DA (500) or so hits here in January/February.

I pick up my 1SS a8 this weekend. Got a drag pack coming too. Milan open for one more month. DA has been down to around 500 lately. Will probably go even lower hopefully.

I'm expecting an 11 second run at around ~116 hopefully.
