This pointless comparison of the design elements of cars is pure juvenile.
Yep. So the new mustang headlights are squinting. Then latest 5th gen cam had squinting headlights and grill to preface that same look in the 6th gen with the larger air intake/lower grill to help get enough air to comp for the design (plus it just looks cool). Now - the Camry has a toned down version of what Lexus is doing with their IS line for ex.- the huge gaping darth vader waterfall grill. Ok- so the Camry has a pinched grill with larger intake- does that make it similar to a camaro? Nope. Just like your SO's face is not like a supermodel (in most cases). Carry on.

Very true but you know Aston Martin guys had some words. I definitely like the blacked out look. My dad has a '13. Well have to show him your's and see if he likes it better.

This board is just as drama filled as any other when it comes to brand so don't act like this board is above it. This argument has been going on since 1967 and the availability to discuss has only been improved by the internet. However the down side are the trolls on both sides and it is dumb and immature.

And the guy who came on MustagG6 is from this board, I am calling him out to bust his ass anytime he feels froggy. And just to be an ass I might show up in either car. You never know.

So what was said exactly? Anything not factual?

So he/she posts on a Mustang board a single race video. With a Z28 screen name. Now you damn well know how that is going to go down.

That be trolling.

To be fair.. When 5th Gen released and was beating existing Mustangs of that era, there was a lot of chest beating here.. Then, when Ford released the 5.0 and it was slightly faster, it was over there.. Then Chevy dropped the ZL1, then Hameedi dropped the 662HP monster..

It's just an endless ping-pong game and both Bowtie and Blue Oval take jabs at each other and have been for 50yrs. It's just how it is. Some people can do jab with obvious humor, some take it personally.

Mustang even seemingly stagnated when Camaro/TransAm died.... Then, when Gen5 came out, look what happened. Each of our sides got more and more with each cycle.. Neither brand wants to look inferior to the other, so they keep trying to out do the other and we get more power, more torque, more features, more options, faster releases.. A 662HP Trinity Power GT500. We're getting 640+ ZL1. They goth the 5.2Voodoo GT350. There's a new GT500 on the horizon with god knows what specs, we're supposedly getting another Z/28 with I'm sure equally crazy parts.

I honestly hope Ford keeps it up.. Because it's making Chevy keep it up.

Couldn't agree more. I had a 2002 SS and I loved that car until I got the Vette. This is my first Mustang and I am very happy with the design and the ease of squeezing 700 rwhp out of the platform with just exhaust and a D1SC.

I think we will see a 670 h.p. lighter GT-500. At least I hope by using the TT V-6.

Yeah, I had a 2002 Navy Blue Metallic TransAm base (stick with those AWFUL Eagle GS-C 245/45/16s all around), then a 2001 Black WS-6 and before that I had a 1998 Steeda GT (below).. now that was a slow one... 4.6L w/ 4R70W that had serious slippage issues. (Cornered very well though thanks to the G-Track kit)

I've looked at a couple '13-'14 GT500s and was heavily considering the GT350 -- just didn't work out though.. I honestly hope I run in to a GT350 or R up at Road America... I'd love to have one throttle past me on one of the straights.. That would sound amazing going up the hill on the front straight, with it at full WOT and my windows down.

I love performance cars in general, but someone had to give some those Mustang owners on that forum a reality check.
