Some people like it raw, while others want all the fancy stuff. Everyone is different. Its pretty much fact though, that if Chevy doesn't at least make that "fancy stuff" an option on the Camaro, that is just poor planning.

I think the new Mustang is a decent looking car. Its sleek and modern and looks sporty but at the same time it lost some of the soul the past cars had. I don't really think its an improvement over the looks of the 2014 model but I will say the proportions are better, and I definitely don't prefer it over the Camaro.

Not saying its the engine I'd buy, but I also think GM would be making a big mistake by not offering a turbo 4 in the next Camaro. We'll see what the sales say, but I think the ecoboost is going to be pretty popular, unless it commands a price tag well above the base V6.

Unless the new "LGX" V6 GM is developing can make about 330 - 350 HP and 300ish TQ AND get competitive MPG (pretty much impossible combination) I think offering a V6 and 4 cylinder is the way to go. Otherwise the Mustang Ecoboost will both be faster than the GM V6 (at least from a dig) and more fuel efficient for traveling. It would be a double whammy.

More pictures coming in so I'll keep making more comments lol

Front....its OK.

Side profile....awkward. What is with the front of the car looking like it actually goes upward towards the front end??

Rear....its interesting and neato to look at. Different. But not really liking it all that much.

I've been wanting to post this for awhile, but this is what the new Mustang reminds me of:

I think you can date it back a little farther than 2006. The vette had it in 1967.

Yep, I was never fond of that though, would have been better below the license plate.

I was talking about the reverse light, it just looked out of place on the 67 Vette, coming from someone that had a 65 Vette.

I like it esp. the fastback approach. Nice change & progress... we'll know more in about 7 or 8 hours....

Mustang

New Mustang is ok, looks kinda like a focus. Not as nice as the 2014 Camaro upgrade to the front and rear but the Ford diehards will poo poo it then accept it. I think the new Camaro design is a vast improvement over the past few years.

As much as I am a GM I am also a general car enthusiast and I guess I gonna be in the minority and say I really like the new mustang design to me looks way better than the current gen. But I am not a fan of the rear end I just don't know what it is about ford and their lack of great rear end design lol. And just buy looking at the pictures posted of the interior the quality of the plastics look way better and prolly are softer touch as well. But the car is not a WOW like the 5th gen was and im not going to buy one. I can see where ford is thinking global and younger and more Womanly, Cause I believe I read or saw a new article that there are a lot more women car buyers than ever before. So they are a business and going after more money nothing wrong with that.

Not bad. Not enough to make me jump back on the Mustang ship though. Only gripes I have are the rear and the interior. That rear end leaves a bit to be desired and the interior is way too busy.

The rear is hideous, maybe throw a Porsche whale tail spoiler on it to hide it. Have to see what the power and handling numbers look like to make final decision. The Boss may be sticking around for quite awhile. As for the Gee Wiz Go Go Gadget options, I don't want them, but to compete, Ford and GM will have to offer them.
