yes it does. It is backlit by leds and the white plastic diffuses the light so it looks like an even strip. It also diffuses up so that the top of the white section glows as well.

Nope, I bet that LED strip stays on when the head lights come on. The 2014 and up Camaros use the halo as a DRL but it stays on when the headlights come.

I'm just saying, as the "2016" headlight is currently, it does not have the ability to switch brightness. It is powered by a LED ballast with only one 12v power and one ground connection. |

I'm guessing that the 6th Gen Camaro will have styling ques from the current vette. While not exactly the same, it does use the LED strip instead of the halos. I remember someone from GM stating that. I wonder if the tail lights will have vette styling also.

The light looks a lot better with the orange marker light lit up.
And the led strip isn't just forward shining. It also glows upwards. Last edited by CFTA; 02-13-2015 at 07:59 PM. |

Maybe not that bad, but I wish they'd offer the stats. The auto show would still be fine and the attention will still be there, but interested parties will simply have more knowledge as they approach.
Seems Chevy would gain much more attention by telling us early, because it would be based on Chevy rather than the millions of various internet voices. They could simply post it on their own website now and see it spread, everyone going to chevy.com to verify. All they'd need to add is the popular *Pre-production model shown. Items may change w/o notice. It would help raise anticipation in my view. |
