Interesting and good thought. We just bought a '22 1LE in black with low miles and had thought the rock guards would have helped but I agree, ours has hit marks on the forward of rear tire lower molding, and had thought about rocker panels.

I recommend side skirts to preserve the lower quarter panel from rock chips, if they aren't already peppered. I think I see a rock guard behind the driver side front wheel in your pic, which is great, but not sufficient with these wider front tires.
