Mine is supposedly "in transit" but it's not on the dealer website yet. My guess is it's still in Lansing awaiting departure. I hope so anyways

In transit on Chevy's site as well as the ordering dealer's for a while is perfectly normal, these pages are fed automatically from the same backend.
Back when I ordered mine and saw it pop up on the dealership's new cars list, I called them and was reassured the car was mine, they wouldn't sell it to anyone else, it's just that they have no way to prevent it from showing up in the system as in transit.

If it were still sitting at the plant lot would it show up as in transit? Or in transit is only after it has loaded onto train or truck?
I think my salesman is off Mondays. So I won’t be able to ask for an ETA tomorrow.

I thought the same thing and tried to get an answer. I tried to get the agent on the Chevy chat to answer that for me and she couldn't. All she could tell me was it passed inspection and was in the "in transit" process.

Thankfully mine doesn't have to go by rail. I'm only 3 hours from Landing so that's a plus.

On the Chevrolet website, a car is listed in transit at some point after it is built. The car I bought last year was "in transit" for 4 months. It took 2 weeks to arrive at the dealership after being loaded onto a rail car.

Again, as I put months ago. After you get a TPW and then a status of built I did this. My TPW 5-1, built. 5/4. I then did a Google Earth on the Grand River plant parking lot of the sea of Camaro's and Cadillac's waiting to be shipped and took a screen shot. I then subscribed to every social media that Chevy has advertising accounts. I then plastered that the screen shot all over them with a WTF? Now just like the Chevy chat/bot, social media has agents/bots also. They ask for the same info, order/vin etc. but I first posted the photo with a shaming comment for all to see and read, and that is when they ask to PM me. At least in my case it worked, my order was at the dealer on the MD eastern shore by the first week of June. My dealer told me car's never show up that quickly and were surprised. In my case, my mind set was I'm paying the freight so earn that charge. When I pay the $$ for a product and I see an issue I become a chigger that digs deeper with every excuse or bs. But that is just me, sometimes you need to be BFN to get the results you pay for.

Here's to hoping it happens sooner rather than later. I've been checking the inventory and dealer website to see if my order has shown up on there as "in transit". Nothing yet, but at least it's been built and has a VIN
