Congratulations to all who received or are in the air getting ready to receive your cars. My dealer called and my car will arrive at the train yard on July 6th. He thinks they will have it at the dealership by the 8th. The train yard and my dealership are only a few miles apart. Once again congratulations and have fun driving your cars home!

Just got the call my car is at the dealer! Dealer says LPO red knee pads haven't arrived and are on back order. I asked if it came with black ones or no knee pads at all and he said he'll check.
Am I not supposed to get 2 sets of knee pads anyway? EDIT: Just saw RallyHT's response in the other thread and I should be expecting to take delivery with original knee pads until LPO ones arrive.

Aaaaaannnndd...BAM!! Becky just told me I'm at 5000 Status!
However, my salesman is being avoidant for some reason. Keeps saying he'll get back to me but doesn't, keeps saying he'll call at a certain time but...doesn't, won't get me the Event History or give me the status code...won't confirm the OTD price... I don't know what's going on. But I'm worried there might be an issue with the car and they are not wanting me to find out about it. Kinda considering just driving down there now and surprising them. "WHAT UP?!?! NOW SHOW ME MY DAMN CAR!!" |

After leaving a voicemail for the sales manager, I got an email from my sales person saying their other Camaro that was being held for quality check was delivered last night. But my car was not delivered and its status is unknown.
 They are looking into it. Needless to say, I'm dropping by to see Becky at Rodger's this evening.

Congrats to everyone on this thread that has taken delivery and pending their cars arrival from shipped status! Becky gave me the 4200 shipped this morning so I will be taking delivery soon I hope!

Welp...salesman just called me.
He confirmed that the car came in a few nights ago. And it is damaged. Somehow, there is a large dent in the driver door. He also admitted that he and his manager have been worried about how to tell me, so that's why they took so long to let me know. At this point, they already sent it in to a body shop, before they called me. I told them that I will drive down there and inspect the car myself once it gets back from the body shop. If I am unhappy with the result, or if I find any other issues, I will not accept the car. Dealer accepted my terms. If I end up not accepting, I will re-order through Becky. |
