Just a reminder that we have our Annual Charity Camaro Car Show May 9th! We'd love to have yall out there!! ;D

_____________________________
Every year we hold our Annual Charity Car Show at the Kemah Boardwalk to benefit the children of Kidz Harbor. This year our event will be held on May 9, 2015 in Kemah, Texas. Kidz Harbor provides emergency shelter to abandoned, abused and neglected children ages birth to 18 that reside in the State of Texas. Every year from our fundraising efforts, we have raised anywhere from $4,000 to $8,000 for this amazing organization. Its awesome to see how the donations impact the children; a few examples include improvements to their facilities, as well as giving the kids a chance to go on fun field trips in the summer time!

There are a couple of ways we raise money for Kidz Harbor. One way we raise money is by the entry fee that is collected from folks entering their Camaro’s into the Car Show. Each owner pays $45 and that directly goes to Kidz Harbor. Another way we raise money is by asking for sponsorships or donations. By being a sponsor you would be able to have your company name on a “Sponsor Plaque”. You or your designee will have the opportunity to present
this trophy to the car of your choice or if you are unable to attend someone, even a club member could do this on your behalf. In addition, we also are seeking monetary donations as well as raffle items for the event. If you would like to donate, May 1st is the deadline, but we if could have it sooner that would be great!

If you are able to contribute, no amount is too small, every little bit helps!

CAR SHOW INFO:
The registration fee is $45 per car which proceeds KIDZ HARBOR. All Camaro makes and models welcome! The event is also open to members and non-members. Registrations are done on a first-come, first-served basis. This is an all day show. We are taking prepayments now, but you can also sign up the day of the event.

Please visit www.h-towncamaroclub.com for more information!

Hope to see yall there!

I wanted to thank everyone for your support for our annual H-Town Camaro Club Annual Fundraiser in Kemah this past weekend. We had record breaking 76 cars in our show! From our friends from the San Antonio Camaro Club to the Gulf Coast Camaros for also coming out and supporting the cause, to the numerous Sponsors and donations we received! I can't wait to see how much money we raised for the kids of Kidz Harbor!

Congratulations to all our winners! We also had many Sponsor Winners as well!

Hey guys, Im coming home from deployment (finally) just poking around to see if anything is going on in the next few weeks? Cars & Coffee? Car Shows? AutoX? Etc.
I bought a 1LE while I was gone and looking to meet up while I'm on leave. If the weather stops acting like an asshole of course.

Hi and Welcome Back, and thank you so much for your service!

We have quite a few things coming up. And definitely if the weather would behave itself!

Saturday, May 30th - We have a drag school at Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown all day. Now the event is full, but you’re more than welcome to come out and watch and hang out with us. We have 30 cars that will be racing. (2525 S Farm to Market Rd 565, Baytown, TX 77523)

Sunday, May 31st - There is an event that HPD puts on (Houston Performance Driving) from 11 to 3 at the Twin Peak in Shenandoah (The Woodlands) we usually roll pretty large to this. Normally we meet up early and all roll in together. But I can let you know if you would like to join us. (18310 I45, Shenandoah, Texas 77384)

Saturday, June 6th - HPD Meet HP Performance - June Night Meet from 7:00 pm to 1:00 am. (1419 Vanderwilt Ln, Katy, Texas)

Sunday, June 7th - Woodlands Cars & Coffee at Market Street 8:00 am to 11:00 am - There is a special area we park in, its by the HEB Parking lot, just look for the Camaro's. (9595 Six Pines Dr, The Woodlands, TX 77380)

Sunday, June 14th - A bunch of us are participating in an SCCA Autocross event at Grandsport Speedway in Hitchcock. The link to sign up is www.dlbracing.com once there, you need to search for the event (Houston Region SCCA - (AX) Regional #6 Grandsport Speedway) the cost is $50.00 and we will have a class set up specifically for our Camaros. When signing up you will need to pick your number and then select your class. Be sure to select "CLBC" as your class! (7575 FM 2004, Hitchcock, TX 77563)

Saturday, June 20th - Not sure yet but that should be the date for our next Club meeting. (Location TBD) Otto's in Stafford will be having a theme Camaro night. (11222 Fountain Lake Dr, Stafford, TX 77477) So i'm sure we may be making an appearance after our meeting.

That's all i know for right now! Please let me know if you have any questions! Hope to see you out there!

This one was mainly for club members and only 30 could run so it wasn't widely advertised.

From what I understand, we will have a Drag Race 101, how to properly stage, burnout, etc. Then we get to run the rest of the day. Not sure exactly of the time schedule yet. I know we will start that morning. But the track is strictly ours that day.
