All of us need to do whatever we have to do to make it right for ourselves. If the price is right, and you are not forgoing any major option from your original order, why not get it sooner. Do you have a deposit on the factory order? If you do, will the dealer refund it now or will he wait until the car you ordered is sold. If he sells your original order for less profit than you contracted for, will he retain your deposit, or a part of it, to offset a financial deficit? If you consider all facts and it is beneficial for you to buy a ZL1 elsewhere sooner, do it. Enjoy your new car.

My order has moved in a good direction. I don't want to get ahead of myself. It's still a good deal off. The fact is I still need to coordinate a time frame for an auto transport to pick it up and haul it over 1700 miles to me. The story isn't over yet. We merely opened a new chapter. Check back with me in 5 weeks and see if I still have a positive emoji

Bought a bunch of cars from this group of dealers. They were going to take money down, but never did. I have bought some really expensive stuff from them before - Porsches, Mercedes... Still, I don't want to screw them. I will try to help them find a home for my old order.

Placing orders against allocations is a complete different thing than this TPW issue.

A10 has way fewer allocations so yes a manual will be easier to order.
