I brought mine in today, I had the Onstar notice to my dealer. My 2SS is not affected by the recall!!!
so relieved.

I looked up my VIN on the GM website and it says no recalls...am I clear?

In case this helps anyone, my 1SS was built in December with VIN ending in 135336 and I got a recall notice. I put her up on ramps today and verified that there are no raised numbers on the oil pan. The etched or stamped numbers are a bit harder to see, but they are there.

my dealer\service dept so pretty good (so far) dropping the car off tomorrow and getting a loaner while they check it out. Since its there, ill prob ask them to do my oil change and move to full synthetic. ill post up what they say
