I read power glide some time back. Have not heard which gear set or rear ratio.

Wonder what this car weighs?

That looks awesome! I have a couple questions that I hope wont offend anyone! Why would they trim the dash and doors out if this is supposed to be a purpose built drag car? If it can't be registered for the street why have the extra weight of HID's, interior etc? Don't hate on me for asking, im not nearly as knowledgeable as most on this site! I do know weight is obviously a negative in drag racing and there seems to be alot of extra weight left in that car! My neighbor has a tube chassis alcohol car he drag races and one day he went through the car cutting off every bolt 3 threads past the nut or whatever the bolt went through and he filled two folgers coffee cans that weighed 41 pounds! Seemed excessive to me but I guess pulling a .96 60ft it all has to be done at every level!

Looks like 8.88 @ 142. There was a nasty headwind too. Mid 8's appear to be possible with these cars. I think the factory cage is only rated for 8.50's though.

Why on earth was the driver air bag left in?? Is it just a dummy cover without a bag in it? Scratching my head as to why the factory steering being used.
