OK, so now I have to take those stripes off and do what I planned all along, PAINT the entire center cowl gloss black!! Thanks for helping me make up my mind guys!! lol.

I guess after a few bong hits one could imagine just about anything in a creative paint/decal pattern. I like your current look, it's unique like the rest of your vehicle. You're one of the few guys that can do bold appearance mods without them looking gaudy or freakish. Black stripes will of course look good but that's kinda standard on our 5th Gens.

Thank you ariZona, I really appreciate the compliments!! When I started my mod trip, I had a vision as to the look I was going for. Took a while with many changes to the appearance, but in the end I got what I was looking for! The flame hood stripes I installed were something I wasn't sure about how they would look because people used to say, NO FLAMES on a Camaro!! lol. But these were different as they were gradient and not gaudy, and I've never seen any cars with them, so on they went, and they look great, different and unique as you say. I get a lot of compliments at the shows about them, and most people think they are actual painted! I wish, then I tell them they are just a stripe decal and they flip out as to how they look painted! And if I did ever decide to paint the entire cowl gloss black, there would be NO center divider in it like the rally stripes, the entire cowl would be gloss black. But I like my flames! Here's another pic where they look painted.

I dig the flames...the gradient like you say, makes it set off and soooo not gaudy! Your car was the first one that I saw that was the complete old school/new school look, and thats where I wanted to go with mine...you are an inspiration for alot of us!!

Thank you my brother!! I really appreciate the love! It is really awesome to know that what I have learned, done and accomplished over the years, and shared with all you guys, is an inspiration to you all! When I first joined this forum, I was looking for inspiration and help with "how she works", and found all that, so over the years and mods to her I shared my journey with the Camaro "family" and the rest is history!

haha yep! I wasn't expecting that to happen. But I guess with the crowd we run with, it's was bound to happen!! Who knows what goes on in our minds when you see a picture.
