My ‘23 SS 1LE was finally delivered on Monday. I made it up to the dealer to pick it up and was told the inspection wasn’t done yet because there was a glitch in the system they need GM to fix before they complete it. I guess the car is showing as a Cobalt after some system upgrade.

Anyone have any suggestions?

This may sound stupid but it worked for me in less than 12 hours to get an allocation. Get on facebook and find a Camaro add. Respond to it with your story, be a little nasty about it, but not outrageous. Keep an eye on it and hope their social media team give you a long canned response that says to send them a DM with your order# and they will take a look. I really think these guys have the pull to make stuff happen when they want and they do not like bad stories on their adds. Good Luck.

In other news, I placed a 3rd order last Thursday, and it got accepted today. So, it does appear the other dealer was being less than truthful.

I did. They are 500$ each and refundable. One dealer said they probably won’t be able to get a Camaro but wanted 2500. I said not on a probably not.

Since my 3rd order was accepted, I’m tempted to collect the first two deposits before they get pickup up too.

Just had a dealership tell me that 2SS orders are on a major constraint, and that I should order an LT1 instead. I really want the HUD & door/footwell l8ghting though. Anyone hear of 2SS constraints?

Transmitting in the blind here, I checked Chevy distribution list at 1300 Est. and didn't see any constraints for Camaro, Corvette.
Separate note, I ordered a 23-2SS-1LE VOM 6M, SR, Nav, Fuzzy N-pads, S-brace, Out-cover, last week of March. The order was accepted the same day and TPW 5/1. Built 5/5 and today I received word my car is on the road with an ETA 5/23ish. Will pick it Saturday. I Hope!

Just asking to make sure our bases are covered. I've checked that list too, but I wonder if that is the same thing as constraints. Because some of the constraints I've heard about aren't listed in the distribution list. I wonder if that is more for things that are no longer available at all.

For example, Chevy Chat told me a few weeks ago, that LT1s were on a 20% constraint. That is not listed on the distribution list even if you go back weeks or months.

Well, the site gave me the week of 4/10 constraints on 4/8 before GMA. So if they do have any, they must be back door via VIN View. Let me work a different channel..

2SS is on constraint at 25% of national allocation qty.

1LZ (LT1)/1SS is on constraint at 29% of national allocation qty for the duration of the model year.
