Simply because there are a ton of morons out there who think that animal agriculture is horrible and taking fur from an animal is akin to taking clothes away from a human.

Fur just has a negative connotation now. Just like how "slaughtering an animal" has to be referred to as "harvesting an animal" now.
I don't like to get caught up in connotations of words. I'll just use whatever I think is technically correct.

That said, I recognize the difference between a fur (aka, a pelt), and an animals fur (the stuff covering most mammals).

I'm not into photography, but I heard about HDR in popular science a few years ago and they mentioned a number of programs.
This one is free & open source, no clue how good it is http://qtpfsgui.sourceforge.net/?page_id=2. 4 years ago, they said it was rapidly improving ... should be pretty kickass now

I don't want to get caught downloading illegal stuff. Especially if I'm going into law enforcement.

That's the one I downloaded.
I didn't like it at all. Maybe I need to mess around with it some more, but I'm just not getting the results I want.
I can make a better "fake" HDR photo. with GIMP.

Oh hell no. They did not just go there.
GM's Executive Director of Product and Technology Communications, Jason Laird, tweeted:
"A carmaker poking gentle fun at our product ignores tow trucks they need and rental cars they recommend as backup to their product."

I saw that.

I want blood though. An ad that completely humiliates the Leaf into submission.

Doesn't any ad featuring the Leaf do that already?
