I was totally shocked. There's a Murcilago LP640 Spyder down the street from me and I saw a F430 Spyder saturday...... I heard that 458 before I saw it..... when I first saw the back end out of the corner I thought it was an Enzo . Still had dealer plates on it too!

What do you mean time isn't everything? If you get from point A to point B in the shortest time, you win. Thats it, end of story. They don't award you bonus points for crossing the line faster.

And a better way to get average speed: distance divided by time. Unless one car spots the other a few lengths, they run the same distance. So the car with the quicker time also has the higher average speed.

never saw the people in the 458.... the guy in the F430 was pretty cool though. He pulled up and had lunch with us, then rode over to the cruise-in on the other side of the parking lot. Sat around talking to him for a while. What's funny is going out to the Porsche club meeting (can't call that a cruise-in... they're too good for that). There will be Porsche, Lambo, Ferrari etc there. I've gone in the camaro a few times and people would act all stuck up at me, then when I showed up in the 356..... they sure acted different
