So what is the definite answer on this. I read 13 pages of replies and I am a bit more confused. Too many varying answers throughout the replies.
Is the 0W40 ESP okay to use on cars that are tracked or not? |

Yes it is perfectly fine...Is it as heavy track-duty as the 15W-50? No. Will it matter? Well, if GM/Mobil 1 both say it's track capable in the faster C7 Z06 and the ZL1, that's good enough for me. At operating temperature, the weights are 40 vs 50 and both of those are capable. The difference is at cold temps, 0w is easier on the engine. 15w is heavier and the car should be carefully warmed up before aggressive usage.

Is there anyway to easily check the rear diff fluid level? I had the service performed at a dealership last night and on my receipt it shows "1QT Fluid Rear Diff Service" and I was billed for a single quart of fluid. This has me concerned as I'm not confident in the service performed.

If you have a Convertible, it takes about 1.2 quarts. If you have a Coupe (eLSD) it takes about 1.6 quarts. It's possible they didn't bill you for the extra/had some remaining or, like most dealer fluids, they order in bulk and use a tank of it without going by individual quarts. The only real way to fill it is to fill until it overflows...If the tech had any experience at all he'd probably know this. I wouldn't be too worried. But you can always order the fluid and pump, pop the cap and add some til it overflows if you can't find a way to check the level. |

My car is a 1LE so eLSD equipped. I will get the fluid and pump to verify the work, I greatly appreciate the advise. |

So, Since I bought used 2018 ZL1, with 1000 miles on it, I just changed the oil last night.
And for 1500 miles, I need to do an oil change and diff fluid? |

I suppose you could wait until 2000 miles to be roughly the same interval. It's more important that you get it changed than worrying about which odometer mark. But to answer your question, yes.
