It's BS. Bowling Green ripped all the C6 tooling out before C7 production started. They couldn't build a ZR1 there if they tried.

Also that looks like a jet stream blue ZR1 and that color was discontinued in 2011. So I doubt they would build a C6 when C7 tolling is in place and the color isn't in the line up.

Someone at GMI is confirming LGX for the 6th gen.

Still too early to tell if that is the case although it's a good bet.

That gets my attention.

I am REALLY curious to know more about this engine. I want to see high displacement (3.8ish? 340ish HP), direct injection, cam phasing, cylinder deactivation. It would be a powerful, fuel efficent (at least on the highway) engine to use across the entire lineup of GM vehicles.

Might just end up being an update to the LFX like it was to the LLT.

All right, question for all of you.

http://extremedimensions.com/2002-20...r-1-Piece.html

I'm getting this TrailBlazer SS bumper for my Envoy. How much do y'all think it'd cost to get it painted and installed by a body shop?

Sounds like a cover for the bumper, not an actual bumper. Not sure, but you could probably install it yourself, that might save a few bucks. Just paint should be $200-300, although shops that do lots of insurance work may not be too interested in a small job like that. Or you could just buy a TBSS...bumper already included.

Hmm...I'll have to check with my body shop.

In other news, now that someone else blabbed about this...

Corvette C8 already in development.
