Yes, it is irritating for sure, and I'm too dumb to figure out how to NOT make them post sideways...

You're welcome!

Screaming Chicken sells very good quality vinyl. I've had their chrome DRL trim covers since 2020 and they still look as good as new

I even ordered replacements just to show support, but of course I'll use them if I ever happen to mess up the originals (looking at you, power washer nozzle).

Bruh... I keep trying to clean my car, what do y'all use for cleaning the exhaust tips? I can't get mine clean enough and my outside tips are taking a beating being in sport or track mode all the time.

I use Tub O'Towels wipes from Home Depot for regular cleaning and Mother's Mag & Aluminum Polish with a conical sponge drill attachment for the occasional fine polishing, if the tips get really raggedy.

The only problem is I kinda like them tips black, so I often only clean the outside Heck, I'm tempted to paint the inside of the tips matte black using the same high temp paint I sprayed the suitcase muffler with (and it looks pretty good if I may say so).

Arpad, I agree about having black tips. I like them better than chrome.. My Flowmaster American Thunder Axle-Back came with chrome tips and I couldn't stand them, so before I put the system on the car, I took them to get powder coated gloss black to match the paint on the car. MUCH better! Just use a polish specifically for powder coating and it cleans them up nicely.

Is everything on your car black?

Not EVERYTHING...but 90-95% of it is. There's chrome around the front and rear flow-tie/bowties that I'm trying to figure out what to do with(or leave them alone), The wheels are the gunmetal color, and the calipers are still silver(Would LOVE to have them powder coated gloss black with the Brembo and ZL1 stickers put back on). My front ZL1 grille badge is a laser etched emblem with Matte Black ZL and Matte Red 1...and the ZL1 badges on the carbon fiber hood extractor and left rear bumper are vinyl stickers that are also Matte Black ZL and Matte Red 1. So, ALMOST all Black, but not quite.

Swapped out my steel transmission pan to an aluminum unit and added a drain and fill plug to it. This will make services infinitely easier now!

Damn, that is niiiice looking. Great, now there's a mod a actually need to have. I'm getting a set of satin black Factory Repros ZLE wheels for my off season driving, and to have those black tips would really round out my car's theme. Thanks for posting them.

No problem! Yes, black tips would look nice on yours as well! Post some pics whenever you are able to get them!
