Stop it. Try 11 seconds behind a Zl1. We can go on and on. The Zl1 wiped the floor with the GT350R by almost 3 fulls seconds. The Zl1. Not even the Zl1 1LE.

But anyhow.................
But, but, but the magazine said I'd keep up with a Veyron in my a10 GT...

What I find even more entertaining is that you're willing to make yourself sound ignorant just to troll on here. LOL!

It's like when the import guys throw an intake on their car and then swear they can keep up with Corvettes. Sometimes it isn't even worth a reply. Just look at them, smile, and say "sure you can, sure". LOL. Fastcarfanboy is in his own little magical world.

I believe the quote was...

"just a tune and a tire and the GT beats the ZL1"

and then we found out the list of mods was longer than John Holmes' ... uhh... arm.

haha, i remember that.

Now it's "stock" as long as the block is stock. You can have turbo's, superchargers, exhaust, drag radials, headers, intake, tune. That's covered under the "stock" category now.

So, they have 900 hp "stock" Mustangs. That's why when I'm done with my build and I crank out 1100 hp, it's still going to be stock.

Well, it's going to be 1100 here n a few days. Back at the shop getting more "stock" mods done to it. haha.

And I will. I'm going to rent out Royal Purple once temps cool down. I've never once been to a track so. Should be fun. It's just going to be me at the track so. I should be able to spend all day getting it dialed in.

The screwed up part is 1100 won't be enough. I dropped it off last week and told Sorian, when this stage is done, we need to build the block and hit that 1500 mark.

They are holding 1500 hp stock bottom end

Hennessy and lingenfelter both have lt4 motors holding strong at 1500 hp stock bottom

What is your fueling solution at 1500? That’s why Hennessy developed the 1500 hp lt4 in order to design the fuel system for that hp level. I think a few things are available. I plan on running E85 if I go FI for the cooling benefits and extra power but requires even more fuel. I’ve heard a stock lt4 system is maxed out on E85 at about 650-700 rwhp. Which is right around what I want. With how my car is setup and it’s weight that will put me well into the 9s. These guys running 1000 hp and running tens just make me lol

Man, that may be true, but I'm not going to risk it. I'm going to have LME build the motor. My fueling is taken care of already, maybe injectors, but that's about it. The thing is, I went F1A94. I called LME the day after drop off, they told me to go F1X. Supposedly the F1X won't fit without doing construction to the car and I'm not going to be cutting shit to make stuff fit. The F1A94 is good up to around 1250, so that's fine. We are going to max the blower out or leave a little room. I want to run a 200 shot. Sorian wants me to go all motor. LME says if they build the bottom end, I can safely throw a 300 shot at it, getting me close to 1800 hp that will hold. If I do that, then obviously re run a separate fuel system.

I'm gonna play with it for a month or 2 with this new set up, then decide where I'm going to go next.

I'm not doing it for track times, even tho I am interested in seeing the times we can get put down. Right now, we are a mid 9 car as it sits. Based on his other builds. I'm still on a 20" DR so that will have to go. I still have more work to do, but it's all about the journey. LME quoted me $8k to get the bottom built up. So, after this is done, I'll have fun, do a few meets, do a few pulls, then it will be back in the shop to continue on. I did buy every single BMR suspension part, so that is going on as we speak as well. So, suspension set up should be handled to hold the load. Drivetrain is prob next.

Yeah who knows how reliable. Just saying they are holding as of now.

Sounds like a sweet plan. Like something I would do if I won the lottery lol

Eh, one step at a time. That's how I do it. But honestly, I screwed up because I had ZERO plans on doing this. I figured I'd just build a nice 750 hp daily. Not it's turned into this. It's a freaking joke. If I hadn't of spent $11k on wheels, I'd prob be churning out 1800 hp right now cus I could of used that to build the block and blow a 300 shot at it.

I'm still looking at what I need to do. Prob another $15k and it should wrap it up. Block build, drag set up, driveshaft upgrades. I'll prob sell my wheels to recoup some $. That should cover my drag set up and tranny upgrades. Then I'll just go with a Weld setup. Who knows. Every time I login in here I see new shit I want to buy. haha.

A new guy at work was telling me the same yesterday, he keeps up with ZL1s in his stock C5 stingray. He was even showing me his time-slips, as if I care. I don't give a damn how fast he thinks his car is nor do I care about time slips.

Stock for stock, the C5 is not even in the same hemisphere as the Zl1.
