It showed up about two weeks ago, now it doesn't. This morning I finally received an ETA for a delivery in August - September (not very precise).

Got a call today from my salesman. I've tried to order a 2023 2SS to upgrade the 2023 1SS that I was able to find. The order was not accepted for a 2023.

My salesman told me that he's got an allocation for a 2024 2SS. With the employee discount a 2023 2SS would have cost me around 65k including taxes. The same car in 2024 with no employee discount is 80k including taxes. Since I won't pay 15k more (23% increase !!!) I guess I'm keeping my current 1SS.

In my mind I would have been able to sell my 1SS for the price that I paid and I was willing to pay the extra 5k for the 2SS but 15k makes no sense.

If you guys are looking for a deal hurry up and buy a 2023.

Sick and tired of GM the company. I have been waiting since January, car has been built since March, and absolutely nothing. The "customer care" is a bunch of lobotomized people who tell me to wait 72 hours only to say "I have processed your order status update as per your request. I do sincerely apologize for the wait and as soon as we receive any updates, you will be notified immediately. Thank you so much for your patience as we continue to do so".

My dealer isn't much better - with half the crew on vacation and people not picking up the phones. I think my patience is wearing thin, as my current car is on its last legs. While there is zero explanation from anyone about the delay. So I might have to take my deposit and just look at the used car market.

I can’t believe you haven’t received your car yet. I’d be pissed too. I really don’t have any advice but it doesn’t cost anything to keep your order and wait. Assuming you have your vin. But start shopping. Mine sat in Lansing for 8 weeks and had some minor paint damage. Time is not friendly and I’m turning into a non gm fan. This is ridiculous. Good luck my friend and keep us informed.

Don’t feel to bad as I’m in the same boat and maybe your car is parked next to mine as my car has been sitting since 3/8..no ETA.. however I did talk to a Detroit engineer at the Corvette Carlisle show this past weekend and he stated that a lot of the Camaro’s that have been sitting are missing chips..not sure what to believe at this point.

We're both roughly in a 500km radius of the plant. I guess it's patience and some dealers just have contacts within GM that make their cars arrive faster (neighbouring dealership seems to have a steady stream of Camaros [different trim from mine] arrive and get sold).

Since my dealer is not applying any additional ADM mark ups to the MSRP and most recently I was able to get them to agree to a paint correction and ceramic coating at no additional cost due to the time my car has been sitting outside in the elements, I’m just going to wait as the other cars I’ve been finding are being marked up way to high over MSRP.

A convertible manual transmission Rapid Blue Zl1 just showed up at my Mississauga dealer, if anybody wants it. No sign of mine yet but this gives me hope that'll it'll be there soon.
