I was right about the 10 speed 1 year ago, lets see how right I am now

So many years ago(2012) this engine popped up for patent on induction design.

It is clearly a DOHC ENGINE with a driven inducer wheel.

I have a feeling by March 2017 we will see actual pics online of the real deal sporting DI and SPFI Fueling

Saved a copy of that page, for future reference. Wish I had done so for the entire PDF

With the ZL1 (or otherwise taller than normal) hood & a dry sump ... it should fit in the Camaro.

I made the same error and didn't save the whole thing. :(

Very exciting prospect if the LT5 is the configuration listed. I didn't see 6.2L DOHC coming. Hopefully it catches the competition off guard. GM tends to be very predictable

You can attach a multiple page PDF same way you would a picture. It will download as a book

Saw this made it on motor trend. Wonder when we will here about this new engine or the next ZR1?

Help. I see two different direct injection types listed. SIDI and DI. What is the difference?

Thanks for the PDF Chef

Alright.
Say it is a 6.2L DOHC dropping into a new Z/28

Ummm, what does 'DOHC' add to the game? What advantages does it bring?

I'll take a stab at this one.

DOHC = more valves = better breathing/less valve train mass = more power.
Displacement = torque
DI = higher compression = even more torque

Torque is the ability to do work.
Power is the rate that work can be done. I.e. apply the torque against load

DOHC with 6.2L displacement and DI = high HP, high torque, natural aspirated

Would it be correct to speculate that higher RPM would be achievable along with the increased power/torque?

I don't believe that s the case. There will be more mass. You are increasing valves and cams.

This would be correct, as well as adds more timing adjustability, which would help with keeping/increasing power & torque, but increasing fuel efficiency.

That is true but the LS7 had a 7,000 rpm red line so I didn't list it.

I was thinking along the lines of push rods, rockers, lifters. The DOHC will be heavier and bigger but spinning on axis.
