Go for it, those little turbo 2.0s are no joke. This was my first run since getting my mani and throttle body back. I found a 3.27 diff on eBay that I’m gonna pick up too..

It's been a bit dead around here lately, so how about an update? I got this time tonight. 3.27 rear diff has been in since last Wednesday and I can definitely feel more torque with it. Still trying to perfect the fueling for my tune.

My stock runflats get crap traction when flooring it. To the point where i can easily fishtail accelerating onto a highway in perfectly dry ideal weather conditions. Frustrating because usually new cars come with expensive rubber so they can skim that profit margin when you go in for maintenance. I've been disappointed with the wet and dry traction of these stock runflats since purchase though. They're garbage. Anyways. < 5 seconds is crazy. I'd be happy with something close to that with 2.77's and hopefully with lsd and better rubber, all that power can actually hit the ground, without sacrificing fuel mileage / top end. Some day. |

What we really need is a high stall converter so we can launch closer to the powerband but I’m not going to speak on that too much. Haha. I’m running 275s on the rear with summer compound and I don’t spin all that much even at 33-34 psi. I’m sure I could get a cleaner launch by letting 10 or 12 out.. I’d be interested in seeing the performance gain with a 2.77 LSD vs a 3.27 open. |

The best 0-60 I can get is 5.9
2018 2LT V6 A8 with 20" RS Wheels and GY OEM RunFlats.
The best 0-60 I can get is 5.9 in Florida (Sea Level) What am I doing wrong? I know the 2LT adds 308 lbs more than the 1LT. Will 308 lbs more add .7 seconds to my time? |

Yeah that’s weird lol. I can get less than 6 and I’m in Colorado and altitude sucks.

I googled:
2018 Camaro 1LT V6 automatic weight 3,339 2018 Camaro 2LT V6 automatic weight 3,647 3,647 - 3339 = 308 lbs. I was surprised too. Heads-up display, lighted door sills, Alum door accents where for the lighting package, RS 20" wheels, probably other stuff I can't remember also adds weight.. 308 lbs does seem like a lot though.. |

How much should it cost for me to convert my stock 2LT V6 to the 3.27 axle ratio
if I just take it to a shop and have them get the parts and do all the labor? How much of a performance difference does it make for a totally stock 2LT V6 ? Is it subtle or is it a noticeable amount of additional pull ? |

Are you sure about these numbers? They look like the turbo 2.0 I4 auto 1/2LT coupe vs manual convertible to me, see also https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showp...6&postcount=17.

The 2LT has a lot of extra stuff than the 1LT and that extra stuff adds weight..
Heads-up display, lighted door sills, Alum door accents, and a bunch of other stuff. plus tha A8 adds weight over the Manual Trans. |

Regardless, my 2LT V6posts a very sad 5.9 at best with more times being 6.0 and 6.1.
I wonder if the crappy 20" OEM Eagle runflats play a factor? Are the people getting 5.0 to 5.4 using OEM Eagle runflats? |

Okay, here's the ultimate arbitrator for these pesky weights, directly from the official 2018 Chevrolet ordering guide.
Interestingly, SS models with the 8L90 are heavier than those with the TR6060, but LT's with the 8L45 are lighter than their manual trans counterparts. Not exactly sure why, but I guess the transmission cooler makes up for the majority of this difference.
