I like the Bucs pickups - Vinny Curry & Beau Allen from the Eagles, and Ryan Jensen from the Ravens. Not Big Signings, but Solid Players at positions of need.

Teddy Bridgewater is the one I really don`t understand. The Jets are paying a guy 6 million who nearly had his leg amputated after suffering a gruesome leg injury during the 2016 preseason and isn`t what I would call a future franchise quarterback going by his 2014-15 stats. Would seem to be taking a gamble on the Jets part and 6 million cap hit too.

Maybe, but it also has alot to do with what kind of offense and OC that team has. Do you adapt your offense to what the Quarterback does well or do you try to make him adapt to your offensive scheme? Is he a under center/drop back or spread/shotgun Quarterback, what kind of conference did he play against? I think people fall in love with stats, most scouts watch game film to see what a Quarterback does in certain situations and hope their right about talent. It`s hard to predict what a drafted QB will be like in the NFL, look at Tom Brady, he was a 6th round draft pick, the Patriots scouted him and determined he had the mental makeup they wanted for their team. Hell at his scouting combine he looked more like an equipment manager than a future great Quarterback! So you just never know for sure what you`re getting.

How much do you think has left in the tank?

It`s a one year contract so Miami probably thinks his tank is close to empty, but he is good for back-up and giving the starter a rest between plays.
