OEM studs are more than strong enough, the only way you'd have issues with them is by massively over or under torquing them. Many other things in the suspension including the wheel itself will fail before the studs themselves break.

Thanks for the info. What made you select these over the factory replacement ones?

Eric How is the feel of the car with this setup? I've been thinking about doing something like this for a track setup and wondering how the wider tires on this width feel. Did you lose any steering response or feel? They look a little pinched but not too bad. Thanks. Overall I like the feel and even though it does have slightly slower steering response the added grip level dramatically outweighs any other short comings. The tires are slightly pinched, ideally I'd have 11 and 12 in wide wheels but I wanted to stay in B street autox class. I would definitely recommend the set up. I relocated the left rear wiring harness bit have not had any rubbing in the fender liner anyway. Thanks Eric Last edited by Ummpwr; 02-26-2020 at 05:35 PM. |

Sorry, I had read in a "weight-saving" thread they were 23lbs.
Does anyone make a 2-piece for the rears? |

Another one for the lessons learned department, don't buy the cheap aftermarket TPMS in an effort ot save some money. Get the real GM ones from RockAuto. You'll be glad you did!
