Are the new ones the ones that have 8 LEDs on a single head? I Like the way the stage 2 style ones came out. Much brighter than before espically in the trunk

Yea they're flat like the stage 1s except they have 8 leds instead of 4. I bought them because I got them for 52 cents

. I'm going to try them out in the license plate area. If I like those there, I'll move the stage 3 license plate ones to the trunk. Then I only need a stage 2 to try for the dome lighting. Although the dome lighting seems fine to me at what it is right now. But knowing me, with the leds being so cheap, I'll buy the stage 2 just to try.

I really want to buy the reverse lights from diode dynamics but man 80 bucks for light bulbs is a lot for me to swallow

I am in the same boat. If they have some form of Black Friday sale I might consider them since the reverse lights look bad now.

And the stage 3 wont fit in the trunk. I tried and it is to long to fit in the craddle/housing that surrongs the bulb.

The stage refers to the brightness. I got mine from eBay and so far they have worked without an issue. But also take into account I drive my car bascailly once or twice a month. If you want to buy from a fourm sponsor Diode Dynamics is a great place to get them.

Got mine from ebay but they are coming in from China so it takes awhile to get them. You can get them from diode dynamics if you want them fast. I also almost never use the dome light. I have it set to off all the time. I just wanted a white light so I bought the ones I did

The install of my long tubes is dependent on black friday sales. If I find a mod I really want a good price, *cough* zl1 bumper *cough*, I'm going to buy that and the long tubes will be pushed back

. I bought some for my buddy for his birthday and he will be installing those probably during winter break when we have time. I'm going to be assisting. If I don't mind doing the install, I may just go ahead and install mine too. Only reason I haven't done it is because I would have to have done it in 105 degree weather but now that it's cooling down, I might not mind doing it. I love working on the car so winter break will probably be the earliest I put them in. If not, LMR will do it.
