I wonder if the 10L80 will be as strong as the 10L90 in the ZL1

The designation 10L80 stands for 10 speed, L longitudinal, meaning rear wheel drive, and 80 is the torque rating, so the 90 is a stronger transmission. Like back in 2005 when GM went from the 4L60 to the 4L65. Same basic trans but the 65 holds more power.

10L80 - lighter, cheaper, less drag?

Has anyone done a Photoshop of a SS in black? Didn't look thru all 100 pages.

If the tooling, testing, and validation is so costly, and they want to be more competitive against the mustang, couldn't they skip the cosmetic refresh and just lower the price of the car?
Seems like a strategy worth considering. |

It's still ugly...I've looked at it and tried to like it, but it's gross. The rear I do think I could accept (eventually) but that face is a face only a mother could love.
This looks better:

Agreed, much better. But then it looks a bit more like a ZL1.

The ZL1 is the most beautiful look of all camaros IMHO.

Glad it's working for you. It's not working for me at all, and I use to own a '73 split bumper Z-28. If this was their design goal, they blew it.
