He was pretty quick on the trigger to remove the video, and this comment makes me think he knew it wasn't a legit lap. I never said he should have to delete his vid or be "disqualified" or whatever, but a line has to be drawn somewhere, right? Conveniently, they've already drawn a bunch around CotA.

I took it down quickly just not to continue down the line of the discussion.

Today, my buddy sent me a Facebook link for Justin Oakes running at COTA with TransAm (SGT Corvette built by GSpeed). The video was from this weekend, and Justin's very aggressive lines reminded me of my lines only even more aggressive in spots. Justin's video starts at the end of his official SGT Lap Record at COTA. I'd guess his official record lap was as aggressive, but, I'll let the internet policemen on here figure that out. In the race, everything short of the other side of the wall seemed fair game.

Justin is a VERY quick driver in a well prepared race car. He wins in the multiple cars and series he enters and will continue so. I am not a fraction of his talent, but, I'm not slow either.

Count my lap as "legal", don't count it as "legal", I couldn't care less. I only posted it up in the first place after being asked to by a buddy and some others. To me, I did not exceed track limits because there were no track limits enforced nor are they at the HPDE's nor most events at COTA. CHIN had the turtles / sausages up in the esses when I was there in April. Didn't even look like they were there for the Trans Am race this weekend. The TransAm Series will post more up than these highlights or you can go watch the LiveStream replay. Quite "aggressive" through the esses.

I'll attach a picture below, has to be my own fault for not running enough camber. Ended up finishing p2 on the day, and winning the tt2 championship in my rookie season, so all in all it was a good day.
