At no point in that video did he state any generalized claim that the GT is faster than the ZR1. The zr1 is an amazing machine, I would love to have one. BUT.....

On THAT day, in THAT race, a ZR1 LOST to a GT. It's incontrovertible. In reaction time AND ET. You see it with your own eyes. Any number of factors (legitimately) can be used to excuse that outcome. It would be silly to extrapolate that result with a broad statement about those two cars in different configurations as a prediction of future head to heads.

Out of curiosity, in that context, who gives a sh1t what the cars CAN do. When people race against one another, what matters is what happens there at that moment. Right?
After a car loses to another does the losing driver rush up and bring up youtube videos on their phone to show the winning driver how they really should have lost?

Why so emotionally invested in what you perceive others to think of a specific vehicle?

To show that someone somewhere in a modded GT can beat someone in a ZR1? So I could post a video of someone in a Civic beating a GT. What purpose would posting it serve? You posted it because you saw a video of a GT beating a ZR1. We pointed out several facts about that race and now you're trying to play it off. Ask the guys who keep posting the videos. The Mustang guys are the ones who keep fishing for these videos so they can post it on here thinking it proves something.
