My 2020 LT1 has the oil cooler via build sheet and since it has the 10 speed has the tranny cooler as well. EDIT: Located the Build sheet for my 20 Camaro LT1 and these are the codes KC4-For the engine oil cooler KD1-For the Transmission cooler Last edited by Devstrike; 06-21-2021 at 05:09 PM. |

- extra-capacity cooling system and external engine and transmission oil coolers (requires automatic transmission on SS Convertible) - auxiliary engine coolant cooler and rear differential oil cooler (Coupe) In the 2021 brochure, the LT1 shows: - external engine oil cooler And the 1SS still shows: - extra-capacity cooling system and transmission oil cooler (requires available automatic transmission on Convertible) - auxiliary engine coolant cooler and rear differential oil cooler (Coupe) I wonder if the coolers you have are the standard capacity / non-auxiliary ones whereas the references above are for ones that are "upgrades"? |

Not entirely sure but I also noticed the oil cooler not being in the 20 brochure but it was on the build sheet and my friend put it on his lift for me and showed me the tranny cooler and then he showed me the oil cooler lines. So they are there. I know the Manual does not have a tranny cooler in the LT1 so that is probably why the tranny one isn't mentioned but not sure why the oil cooler wasn't mentioned in the 20 brochure since I am sure the manual LT1 has it as well. |

Wait...according to pics of the dash, why does the LT1 have a 7k rpm redline?
SS has 6.5k redline, confused

This threads a few years old, the original info here was solely from documents as there weren’t any LT1’s out in the wild. The photo used early on in the thread was from a I4/v6 car just to show the style of gauges. The actual LT1 has the same rev limit as the SS just in the same style as the I4/v6 gauges.
Here’s an actual LT1 gauge cluster

That is strange (but good for you!) - My guess would be your dealer swapped them from an SS for some reason? I assume it also came with SS size 275/35/20 tires? And was it the all season run-flats (w/LT1) or w/summer run-flats (SS)? Do you have window sticker and does it show any package/option that added 9.5 rears w/275's?
