The next ZL1 DOSP (ordering cycle) is February 9th thru the 14th... if his dealer says in the next 10 days it would be then.... if not it will be March or April DOSP.....

Not for Canada. Regional rep said Canada has one time allocation and TPW and that's it until 2018 models. Yes we are a little different. Lol

In a way it will be kinda cool that all the Canadian versions will be made at the same time. I still don't fully understand why they are only doing 50 but whatever.

Any guesses on the TPW? What is the actual order status in the system now?

I have allocation for a ZL1 Camaro, I put a deposit down at my dealer last April. Everything has been going fine until yesterday, my dealer got a call from GM and says I have to take a convertible, I don't want a convertible, they say there is nothing I can do unless I can find someone that wants to trade orders with me. Is there any of the 50 Canadian guys that have allocation want to trade for a convertible??? I am desperate to find someone to trade orders ASAP

just wondering if a dealer that gets an allocation but does not order if the allocation gets passed on to another dealer or is just lost?

I would guess that it will just sit there until they use it. If they don't use it during the cycle they were given to use it in, they will have it for the next cycle, but won't get another one until they use that one. If they were going to get another one in the following cycle, then that allocation would be passed on to someone else. Maybe someone that orders and sales cars like these can chime in and confirm or correct.

No dealer would pass on a ZL1. They would get it even without an retail order.

Pretty sure that was your dealers decision because they didn't want to give up a coveted vert allocation for a regular coupe. I could be wrong though, but something doesn't seem right.

Congrats Bro! I'm hoping this bodes well for all of the Canadian orders. Seemed like they would be made close together.

My salesman didn't see anything on mine in his system but didn't seem like he really knew how to dig into it.
