Very nice color. To me it looks like the blue is in the basecoat with a lot of silver metallic added, even more than in the silver ice color, so it often looks silver depending on the light.
I usually like lots of metallic in a paint, shows off the angles of the surfaces and lines of the overall design. Heavy pigment flat colors like the red hot dont do it for me. |

This past Friday, I saw ABM on a Chevy Bolt. It was about 6PM and a bit overcast. In those conditions, it definitely looked blue. I would find it hard to confuse it with silver. It's a great color. Had it been available for the 2016s, I definitely would have gone with that instead of Summit White.

Newbie... just joined.
mr965, I've been checking in periodically in anticipation of that pic. WOW, it looks tremendous, congrats !!. I ordered an ABM 10-spd (TPW May1), also switched the color from Silver at the last minute and have been 2nd guessing myself since. Fair to say your photo assures me that I picked the right color, should have it in 3-4 weeks. Thanks to everyone who has posted feedback! |
