I believe they are only good for a month. So you'll have to get one the month you will take delivery.

Private offers, if they come out, typically come out after the 10th of the month for a few days. They also typically end the month you receive them.

No. I know it sounds confusing. A Private Offer is a manufacturer incentive offered on occasion to stimulate sales. It does not impact the dealer. Think of it as a coupon you can take to the dealer that discounts the price of the car.

How much is the discount? Below invoice price? The is different than a rebate or incentive? I don't think Chevy will have rebates on 2017 models... Right?

The discount is $1000 or at least it has been from what I've seen. It would only get you below invoice price if your dealer is willing to sell at invoice.

Would be great for late July. I'm tired of riding shotgun at my Camaro club events lol.

Hey guys,

My dealer just sent me an email a few hours ago. I'm confirmed in this club! Car is going to be pretty damn wicked, with a birthday of 6/6/16. I'm very excited to be a part of this community, finally! Been snooping this website (starting with Camaro5) for the better part of a decade now, just waiting and dreaming.

It's been a very long and difficult process. After going to many different dealers and having multiple horrible experiences (one situation almost made it into the news), I finally found one that is offering me $300 below the employee discount I qualify for (I have this in writing from them). If they didn't call me up and offer me that $300 off, I would have just ordered through Becky. But they had a pretty dang interesting motivation for offering me that. I plan on showing up with a Private Offer as well, which does stack with the employee discount. Fingers crossed it all goes well!

I'll try to post pics on here of what I ordered a little later. I think it's going to be pretty special.

Dude, those black SS badges...those are a yes. Those are a major yes. The car I ordered is also Nightfall Grey Metallic, and those badges fit that color just perfectly. In my opinion, I think the black tail lights and a black illuminated bow tie would really set off this car all the way, but...we still gotta wait for those. For those of you who ordered a 50th, do you have any mods planned? Or will you keep the car exactly as is?

I do have mods planned for my 50th. I did add a few factory options to the car as well in my order.

I added

- Glowtie
- M6
- Magnetic Ride Control
- NPP
- Illuminated Footwell
- Splash Guards

Mods planned to be done after getting car...
- Tint
- Cold Air Intake
- Weathertech mats
- Stainless Works NPP replacement
- Tune
- Second set of wheels/tires with 1 LE replicas
