Becky told me on March 11 that this solution would coimg at the end of March and she confirmed my order got pulled into the system again yesterday. (Was on hold since Feb 5). She's still trying to get a verbal confirmation that my order does have the 5ZU but I'm confident.

I first contacted Becky about ordering this car before Christmas so I'm really excited to finally get it going. I'll post again and change my signature once I get verbal.

Now how about those dark taillights and CAI.

I hope the black taillights are released before it's built. Blade spoiler with black taillights and bow ties on nightfall gray.

A guy I work with overseas tried to order a car today at a dealership in Virginia and the order system would not accept the order with the blade spoiler. If they removed it the order would go through.

Wow thank goodness I am with the engineers on this one... Wing spoiler FTW! Lol the blade is so 5th gen... Lol but please if anyone with a black Camaro wants to send me there terrible disgusting 6th gen "wing" spoiler, I'll gladly take it off your hands

I happen to think the blade / dovetail looked good on the 5th gen too. So much so that I paid out the butt to have my stock spoiler removed, decklid repainted due to paint chips found under the original, and then finally have the dovetail installed with rally stripes. I think it turned out ok enough to make it worth it.

This is also why I feel the pain of the 6th gen owners who previously had to go through an expensive process to repair the hole left by their SS stanchion spoiler.

Aftermarket Blade will be out soon to cover the hole.. The worst part is having to drill new holes to make the new blade fit! Yikes I'm not drilling holes in my car.

If I ever get bored of the wing, I'll need an aftermarket blade that covers the 1 hole & does not require new holes.

My apologies if this is the wrong venue for this question, but having read through all 11 pages I think it might be the right place...

I'm placing my order for a 2SS on April 18, and I as much as it may pain lots of folks here to hear it... My preference is actually for the LT/RS low profile spoiler. If I'm reading all of this correctly, it seems that ordering a blade spoiler will get me an LT/RS trunk lid and spoiler -- and that the dealer would be installing the blade spoiler on arrival. So i could simply instruct the dealer to *NOT* install the blade.

Do I have that right?

Yup! Lucky you... Had your car been built last week (like mine) you would've been stuck with the awesome aero Wing.

Then you could sell the 5th gen style Blade to someone here.

Hotlapzl1 So am I right in the understanding you were able to order a 2016 camaro SS with the blade spoiler and they are able to deliver? I ordered a 1ss and they said I couldn't it hits the production line on April 11th

6LE designs is working on a 2SS blade right now, I sold them my blade for a design mock up.
