Think about it. It's a high revving engine. There has been talk about it eventually making its way into a production car.

Or at least a version of it....

This is what we were told about Z51 Corvettes as well. Unfortunately that is not the case in the real world. I am glad the Gen6 Camaro took steps to keep the car cool when it is used on the track and learned from Corvettes mistakes.
Very interesting OldJedy, I was waiting to hear about this cooling improvement for the new camaros drivetrain. Have you heard something about, if there is any improvements on the A8 transmission issues that some Stingray, ZO6, pickups are experiencing, like rough shiftting, etc? It will be good to know. I'm very interested on a new SS with the A8 (hopefully 1LE if available) but first will like to know if we can trust the new LT1 & A8 powertrain, for them to have the same GM reliability like prior Corvettes and Camaros that have very good reputation at the track.

Does anyone know when the MotorTrend Head2Head with the GT350, Z/28, and GT350R will be viewable?

oh im really looking forward to that video. I think the majority agree the order is probably going to be GT350R > Z/28 > GT350

Seems about right. The only real question is will the Z/28 be closer in performance to the R or the base 350?

My guess is it's going to be closer to the R. The closest one my bet is the GT350 track pack with the magneride and extra coolers

I wonder when we will see a GT350 and Z/28 shootout?
