Now we're getting somewhere in this story: the factory '15 GT exhaust system weighs over 70 lbs. before deleting the cats as well. Stripping that much weight, along with the original seats and partial carpet, and adding only a c/f 1-piece seat for the driver saved well over 100 lbs. from the GTs after adding the Hardbar.

FWIW, Bama just ran a GT PP with a CAI, Headers, Cat-Back, passenger/rear seat delete, tune and suspension mods and ran a 11.24 @121 mph.

Impressive...I am still shocked that lethal performance hasn't released anything yet. Looks like the IRS is holding up for the bama car tho

Those aren't drag radials. Those look like bias ply slicks.

I bet that carpet saved a ton of weight. These are running right with 11-14 modded 5.0's, plus this is Bama. Wait until Lethal or Evo get their hands on them so we can really see what they can do.

I think Bama runs at Cecil so that's really a 11.5 pass @ 119 with the same DA at a legit track.

They also broke a CV shaft too. Guess Ford Racing was serious about those HD ones

I know the ZL1 rear is beefed up, how do the Camaro SS rear end hold up to low 11 second passes on slicks? just being honest never really paid attention

It varies. I have seen a stock SS rear end survive repeated low 11's on slicks and I have seen them blow out with low 12s
