Hi guys,
does anyone know if I can reuse the OEM hat bolts and just have to renew the nuts? And if not, what the exact specs of these nuts are? I did a conversion to the ZL1 1LE Brakes and ordererd the DBA 5000 series rotors, which include new nuts. DBA told me that the don't supply bolts for these hats since they can't supply OEM-spec bolts. If you use their replacement rotors with their own hat design, you will get new bolts and nuts with each purchase of rotors. Since I'm living in Germany it takes a long time to get the correct bolts (e.g. from KNS Brakes) and I could order some bolts from german Brembo/AP-Racing/rallye equipment seller if I knew the specs of the oem bolts or the KNS-bolts. --> So can someone tell me length, diameter and thread pitch of OEM/KNS bolts? Thanks a lot in advance!! Regards, Julian |

If you have the OEM bolt part number, try searching for it on RockAuto.com and the specs you are looking for might be listed there.

Hi guys,
thanks for your advices. I did some research and measurements which shows which kind of screws you need: You need a M6x1.0x30mm screw of high strength to withstand the dba titanium-nuts (thickness of components: 7mm rotor mounting area, 15,2 mm aluminium hat including bobbins and anti rattle springs, 7mm dba self locking titanium nut. = 29,2mm) - - >30mm length required. The KNS Screws have 18mm with thread and 12mm without thread. Found a matching 12.9 screw here in Germany so I can mount the dba discs soon 😎 Best regards Julian |

I don’t even need them right now but that’s a good price! I might pick up a set.
What are you using for rears? |
