Last fall I broke my front spoiler trying to get over a sideway they they poured across a driveway but didn't level it out. I have been on the hunt for a replacement but the GM part has been discontinued so hopefully find a good used one or my plan B is a little more radical. I am 3D printing a template that will help me repair the corner. That is a final resort. Right now I have it removed and only the members of this group would be able to tell something is missing.

Also, last month it was time to change the battery. The OEM had a great run and never let me down but the signs were present that it was time. After a lot of shopping around I was thinking I was going to spend around $300 when I looked at Costco and saw an Interstate battery for $120. Complete with 3 year warranty I scooped that baby up. Thanks to this thread changing the battery was a pain but there were no real challenges or surprised.

Now, I'm just waiting for the topless weather to arrive!!

I’m curious to see the repair his 3D print. And same life has gotten busier.

It is a very common occurrence. Unfortunately.

Well folks - that's all she wrote.

The car wasn't getting the love she needed - so I decided to sell the highest mileage 50 on the planet. It was hanging out at the shop for 2 years and came homer this spring - right as rain after a ton of time and effort to fix things. What was done takes too long to long to list, but I'll drop my ad below in case you are interested.

I picked a price that "seemed" reasonable fr the mileage and my desire to let her go. The young fellow that bought it left with a huge grin.

She sold in 24 hours - with about a dozen people seriously interested in coming to see it - promising cash in hand and a trailer.

This particular thread, while very quiet now ( understandably ) has been one of th e most civilized, adult, helpful and pleasant forum pages I have been involved with. I am in a lottttt of various forums.

Thank you all

2017 50th Anniversary Edition Camaro 2SS
1 of 151 Imported into Canada
Asking $19,999.99.
This car has been cared for with many new factory parts and some top quality aftermarket performance parts and service - from a leading shop in Ontario - CC Performance.
Barely driven over the last 2.5 years so now it is time to let someone else experience the thrill.
It has all of the standard 2SS features: Heads Up Display, Bose Stereo, Leather everything with 50th Orange stitching, heated and ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, illuminated sill plates, sunroof, and so much more.
A little louder and a little faster than many, but as tame as a kitten in traffic.
Starting with:
2" Kooks Long Tube Headers - ceramic coated
BTR Stage 1 Cam with DoD Deleted
Morel Lifters
Pistons (OEM)
Roto-Fab Cold Air Intake
J&L Oil Catch Can
Tuned by CC Performance with a mild tune making about 490 RWHP. It could be tuned for more.
PPF on the front end and quarter panels kept the paint in good shape.
In the last two years - many new parts to make it as close to new as possible.
Motor was apart and refreshed to last another lifetime.
Battery (OEM)
Starter (OEM)
8 Fuel Injectors (OEM)
4 rotors and all pads (Stoptech Drilled/Slotted)
4 Michelin PS4S
All 4 Magride Struts (OEM)
All Coolant Hoses (OEM)
Serpentine Belt (OEM)
All engine wire harnesses (OEM)
Engine Bay Fuse Block (OEM)
Short Block (OEM)
Oil Pump
The odometer reads 353,000 KM but with all the work done on the engine and the new parts, $19,999.99 is a steal. I will continue to drive it every weekend for a few hours, so the odometer will keep climbing.

Wow Homer, you've had a good run with your Fifty. I've enjoyed following your trip as you set record highs for mileage on a 2017. I'm only at 90,000. Good luck with whatever you're driving now. I hope it's as good as the Fifty.

Thank you - I truly enjoyed at least 345,000 of the 353,000 km on her.

My next ride wont be exciting - I am an old man who drives a LOT still, but no longer needs to hear it and turn heads

It may very well be a Buick - a true sign that retirement is just around the corner, along with 60-80,000 km a year still.

Congratulations on putting so many miles on the car, this must have been a fantastic journey

How about a Cadillac instead of a bland Buick? A CT4 or CT5 would be a great blend of convenience and performance for you, and a worthy successor to your Camaro.

Interesting - but i do HATE car payments. I'm lookin to pay cash for the next one. I still have my other daily driver.
