In the Private Offer thread, it appears that the 2017's might not qualify for use with the PO's.

Which is...a kick in the fuzzy dice for some of us.

Here is my post from the PO thread...

Heard back from Becky. Her zone manager not sure and is asking higher up to find out if the PO will work on 2017 MY Camaro.

As for rebate or conquest cash on the 17 haven't seen any yet.

Well, I think I am on a train...........have been at 4B00 since like Thursday, was 4B00 yesterday, but today 4200. So, I have been at 4300 then went to 4B00 and now 4200. I think I have jumped through all the code hoops required to get on a train LOL. I emailed my dealer and told him I think my car is on a train. He can check invoice and see if rail#. So I am going to go in late next week and do paperwork. I guess it's a 12-14 day train to a nearby yard and then about three days to get it loaded up and delivered to my dealership. So for me it looks like the train makes it's way to Portland Oregon and then up to Seattle. Hoping all of you that didn't show 4200 this morning will 4200 tomorrow morning. I originally thought end of August, really surprised and happy about an early July delivery.

Ruh roh. You know I kinda had a feeling about this and it kinda makes sense considering the 16's still on the lots in some places. Would suck for you guys that already snagged POs but regardless of the final price, we're all getting good value for our money and an amazing vehicle regardless. Still would be nice to save $1000.

My luck is my car will end up at Rodgers right before the POs start biting again anyway.

What's irritating is that the PO uses the wording "Eligible" without ever specifying what constituted "eligible". I think it'd be a bit shady to not allow it on '17s.

Chevy Chat told me my car had shipped and I needed to talk with my dealer for further updates. They also said "Nice to see you back again" because I've been asking for updates every morning.

To implement a system of checks and balances I consulted with Becky... unfortunately it seems I am still at 4B00 status.
