The Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. The Trans Am was the theoretical top of the Firebird name plate.

There was the WS6 - RAM Air package that could be added.

The WU6 package would move the manufacturer of record to SLP (Firehawk).

Notice a trend... I don't know how to drive an automatic car. Hehe.
What happened to the Elantra there?

And while I can work with an automatic, my personal cars except for my 1st Accord are all manuals.

I'm going to guess he grabbed it to replace the totaled car, and traded out of it when he found what he wanted long term.

I owned my first Explorer for something like four days and swapped it back in for the '97 that was new. The first one was green and the dealer never disclosed that the entire car was repainted from that red/orange color they had. I saw that on the registration paperwork and immediately went back to fix their "oversight".

Close!

I was thinking not going back to school a little before my first Tiburon was totalled. When it happened, I thought it would be a great opportunity to use the cash from the insurance to do it and I bought the Elantra for 1000$ CAD (was in good condition for the age).

But a week after that I got a well paying job (that I still have) and ended up missing a lot my Tiburon. Although you guys might think it is a cheap car with only 130 hp, it is very nice to drive. So I looked up and found another Tiburon and sold the Elantra for the same price I bought it.

Wasn't planned like this, but it ended up being a temporary car between the Tiburons. Still haven't regretted getting another one, it still drives nice, but with the big hatch opening, it serves me as a "pickup" (I bring my 8' long board of wood for my woodworking, people around are borrowing it to transport big stuff that doesn't fit in a normal car, etc etc, I even brought an oven in it for 200km!).

But right now with 255 000 km, it's getting old. Once it dies, I'll buy a small and cheap pickup. I'd like a Colorado or Canyon, but they are selling for much that I can afford. So maybe a Nissan Frontier which can be pretty cheap for the base model. We'll see.

Get yourself a 4cyl Toyota if you can. Odds are pretty low that you could get one that's a 95 or older that isn't a total rust bucket, but if you could... They're ultra reliable and comparatively easy to work on. And the 22R motor just won't die...

The Tacoma's are nice, but the 6cyl motors don't really let you put the power to the road and the 4cyl's are a little light on the power for the beefier size of the vehicle.
