This issue makes me not use remote start. Need to get into my dealership and have them fix soon.

How often do you change your driver's mode settings manually? Once you turn the car off and let it set 10 minutes and start it with the button they will reappear.

I need to get mine in to get it updated but not important enough to get it done ASAP.

The radio screen also doesn't show my climate control settings. It drives me crazy. Could not care less about the driving settings.

Mine has also done it with & w/o remote start. It's going in Tuesday for loose antenna & told them about this issue too.

Damn. Had car in for #17-NA-186. Driving Mode still goes away. =/

I'm showing software version 84089010 (if that even is the right one). Can anyone with the update confirm their version?

Less than 2000 miles on mine.. same thing happening to me. It's embarrassing to try to show off some of the cool things this car does only to have it fail in front of friends and family.

I'm going to take mine in and see what the dealer says.

Did they replace the radio, or just update software? The fix requires radio replacement.

I religiously switch my NPP from stealth > track every time I leave my neighborhood and from track > stealth every time I return -- it's a very dense yet very quite neighborhood and I don't like causing noise so I am constantly in the menu and switching this option. every. single. day. I can literally do it without looking down at the screen at all, that's how much I use this feature.

That said, it appears missing about every 200 miles or 1 in 30 vehicle trips, and I can't reproduce the actions that cause it.
Happening to me now. I thought I had become stupid. Thank you Chevrolet :(

This problem just happened to me now. Turned the car on this morning after a few days and driving mode was not there. I turned it on and off a few times and it didn't work. Now i'm at work. I figured i'll let the car sit for an hour or two and try it again. Any way to fix this?

**update. I went outside to start it again after letting it sit about an hour. It appeared! Funky thing this computer system is

Can someone please explain in detail what that screen does and how it works? Getting my car in about a week and thats the only thing im confused about. I know u have the few modes by the shifter so what does that screen do? Is it just for start up purposes or what? haha Thanks

Ah Story time...

I'm a CarNazifornia resident and this issue almost got my butt in hot water loll.

Short background; I bought the NPP specifically for the stealth mode. I knew form day one I'd be looking into a secondary cat or primary (or both) delete as soon as the car came in. And of course about a day into owning the car I was at the exhaust shop with a saw ready to clear beast's booty pipes a bit. Sounded amazing.

Fast forward about a year, I'm bolting on a procharger and everyone is singing the "get longtubes" song. Now as someone who has faced a state ref before, I decided to make my setup as reversible as possible. What do I do instead? Put my secondary cats back on and buy a set of CA performance test pipes. Car sounds amazing, a little more rasp than I'm used to but just enough to scare the absolute shit out of anyone next to me. In stealth? Dead quiet. Almost stock sounding. Yayyyyy! (minus the annoying valve flutter/rattle but hey you can't have it all right?)

Well one faithful day a few months back, I do a quick WOT under a bridge. Que LAPD cutting a red light from the left turn lane to speed and get behind me. I scramble to go into driving mode to close the valves... But no driving mode. WHAT?! I start blinking hard, scrolling frantically. Of course the light turns green, and now i have to get this twin disc M6 off from a dead start with BLAAHHAHDFGFASDHAHSKDBLJ coming out the back of me all while mr LAPD is literally sticking to where my pipes are right under his window. Luckily skip shift kicks in and it quiets down, I skip into 5th and the valves close on their own (usually hate that but this time it was my savior) and my ociffer decides its not worth his time and leaves.

TL;DR Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu*k this software bug. Add me to the list.

Has anyone figured out how to bypass the system and drive with show mode on? tune, hack, mod, etc.

Just had my radio unit replaced today per 17-NA-186. Software version now says 84131951. I have an '17 SS 1LE.

I have 9k miles on it. The disappearing driving settings issue only happened once to me last week. But I was bringing the car in for warranty on the "clicking noise from wheels when turning left at low speeds" and since I saw it was a known issue, I asked them to see if they could fix the radio as well. Next day they had ordered the new radio unit and replaced my old one.

Here is what I did right before my settings disappeared (I was trying to use the PDR to record the wheel clicking issue, btw):
1. Change exhaust from track mode to stealth mode while driving.
2. Record a video using the PDR.
3. Stop at a red light and then play the video.
4. Start driving while the video is playing.
5. Video playback is disabled because you can't watch it while the car is moving.
6. Now the menu for driving mode is gone. (guess it was somehow linked to the video playback so both got turned off)

Now I try to turn my NPP back to track mode in the menu and I can't find it. Stop at a gas station, go inside come back out after 2 minutes, start car and it still has the sad stealth mode exhaust sound, drive for the next 30 miles and feel like I have the V6 Camaro. :( The next place I stopped, I let the car sit for about 20 minutes and my options were back on the next start up.
