The hard top... That's sexy. Concept to production is tricky.

Door handles, and different wheels, mirrors....all of that will likely change, and it does make a difference in the end.

Also...this car is sport/lux look. Camaro is sport/muscle look. If you want badass, then you want Camaro. If you want the "fast while wearing a tux" look, then its the Buick. Some of the concept sketches I've seen on here of what a ZL1 or a Z/28 COULD look like are downright amazing, and since I lean towards badass over fast in a tux look, I'd take the Camaro, and apply my own tweaks to make it more bad ass.
The 5th gen Camaro is strikingly similar to the original concept which debuted in 2006. GM said the response to the concept was so overwhelmingly positive they essentially had no choice but to figure out how to make that exact concept into a full production vehicle.

Hence the "I can't see out of these tiny windows" complaints lol. GM tried to make better sightlines but it just messed with the overall look so they kept it..... wisely so!

So if the Buick gets the response that I think we're seeing (I know I think it's beautiful), they aren't going to tinker with the design very much if/when they go to full production.

When I first saw the pictures I instantly noticed a Camaroesque shape and design. I hope, but will be surprised, if Buick can pull it off. Of course it could be good for their China market where Buick is BIG!

The name though:

"So man, what do you drive"
"Avista"
"A what??"
"Avista"
"oh I thought a Vista was an oldsmobile wagon"

who comes up with this stuff?

Grand National
Buick GNX
Buick GSX
GS 455

all better than Avista - it won't sell.

Definitely a nice car. Not something I'd want now or take over the Camaro, but maybe a few years from now if it is in production and hits all of the marks I'd go for one.

Would love to see Buick get something like this. Would help the brand tremendously as they're obviously still trying to shed the "old people" stereotype as noted in recent Buick commercials.

Concept has a 400hp TTV6. I'd assume the same one in the CTS V Sport but don't quote me on that

V-sport is a 3.6 TT. This Buick has the 3.0L TT from the new Caddy CT6.

And, this entire thread is a dupe of my thread that the OP was posting in before he even stared this thread .......

It'll probably be FWD with global styling.

Not a huge fan. Looks too much like they combined the front end Tesla and the back end of an old Altima couple.

Camaro all the way.

I agree - Like the car overall but the main thing I'm not crazy about on it is the digital dask.

And it looks like one can actually see out of the Buick, build it and it will be a best seller.
